You’ve come to the right place! We recommend attending our NRS (New Racer School), consider this track days 101. The NRS is open to all riders looking to gain more confidence with their motorcycle adn their skill. It’s not only intended for those wishing to race. Graduates of our school will gain the knowledge and experience required to safely and comfortably attend our track days and those elsewhere.
Our track days require minimal bike preparation which can typically be accomplished in a matter of minutes primarily using tape. If you ride to the track this can be performed onsite after arrival. Check out our Bike and Gear requirements here.
It doesn’t have to be complicated. Ideally, you’ll want to things with you to insure your safety and comfort. In addition to checking out the bike gear and requirements, bring fuel, food and water you may want to consider bringing a canopy to provide shelter from the sun/rain, a chair, insect repellent, sunscreen, tools, spare parts and of course, a friend!
No fuel is available at the track, however gasoline is available in the shopping centre conveniently located a short distance from the track. Topping up your tank before you arrive at the track should insure you have enough fuel for the day. Our vendors may offer racing fuel, but availability may vary.
No electricity is available in the paddock for participants. If you need power for tire warmers, fans, etc. you must bring a inverter generator with you.
A hybrid track day takes place on a Saturday or a Sunday of a race round weekend. It means running 2 sessions of track day riding in the morning, and 2 session in the afternoon. 4 sessions in total. Price is $178.50 + gst. You get to ride the track and watch racing all for a low price. No 1st time track day rider. If you are a 1st time track day person, please sign up for our standard track day.
Gates open at 7:00AM with technical inspection of your bike and personal safety equipment, once completed proceed to registration. Registration closes at 8:00AM. All participants must attend a mandatory riders meeting following the close of registration. We strive to have riders on the track by 8:30AM! There will be at least 4 session groups that will rotate throughout the day in 15 minute sessions. We will have an hour break for lunch around noon and the day will end around 4:00PM.
YES!. Camping is permitted in return for assistance with helping us set up the track. On the evening before a track day meet us at the track, at 6PM we will be at the track preparing our equipment for the big day. You are welcome to spend the night at the track in return for lending a hand with the setup. If you haven’t been to the track before or are looking for a little more insight, participating in setup will give you the opportunity!
Private instruction is a great way to learn to be a better rider quickly. We also offer Semi-Private Instruction on non-school track days where groups of three will spend the day working closely with an instructor to improve their skills.
Unfortunately, there are inherent risks to riding a motorcycle. However every precaution will be taken to ensure that your experience was fun and you leave one of our days hooked and wanting more.
If you are concerned about whether or not any potential insurance claims would be accepted please contact your insurance provider in advance of attending and inquire. While our track days are not racing events, you should be aware that you are attending an event held on a closed circuit and your insurance provider may have specific rules regarding these claims.
In April 2022 Speed-Fanatics became the title sponsor of Mission Raceway Park and as a result the facility is currently known as Speed-Fanatics Motorsports Circuit. Speed-Fanatics Motorsports Circuit is located at 32670 Dyke Rd, Mission, BC V2V 4J5.
Your group will be selected when you register for a track day through our Motorsport reg site, and confirmed at your registration on the morning of your track day. You’ll choose your group based on a self assessment of your abilities. If you haven’t ridden this track before, you’ll want to select a slower group and change groups later as your comfort grows. To change groups, speak to one of our control riders/track marshals on the day.
In order, to ensure the enjoyment and safety for all, we reserve the right to adjust the number of groups and the participants in each group as we see fit.
Our events run rain or shine. Sorry, we don’t offer refunds in the event of rain! Riding the in Lower Mainland… rain happens. A rain day offers a chance to become comfortable riding on a wet or damp road.
