How Do I Get Into Racing?

Take a race school

You must have taken WMRC accredited race school in the past 24 months to qualify you to buy a race license. We recommend our very own New Racer School.

Join the club

Buy your membership/race license. Graduates of our New Racer School get a race license included with the school.

Buy a transponder

In order to participate in our races you must have a transponder. Transponders are used to track your position and provide lap times. Approved transponders are MyLAPS TranX260, TR2 Car/Bike or X2 Car/Bike transponders.

If you can’t race yet or you just aren’t sure it’s for you?

Come out to the races and volunteer or try a Taste of Racing. We always need corner workers and you will see what the club is like, meet people and watch the action from the best seat in the house.

Taste of Racing is held at lunch time on dry race days for free! These are parade laps on your street bike intended to give you a small taste of what racing with us could be like.
