Hey, I was hoping to make the next round but it shows as June 20th on the home page... that's a NON holiday Monday... Is that correct? Like we have to take time off work to race?
Yes, that is correct. When we were given our dates, our membership at the meetings indicated that we needed some dates in between the May long weekend and the September dates. So we took 2 Mondays instead at the encouragement of the membership. The club actually *needs* the membership to come to these 2 monday races, or we face possible VERY hard financial times. The membership said they would come, so we took those dates...
I booked June 20th off work as soon as the schedule came out, so if I can get the rest of my ducks in a row, I'm doing all I can to be there, Dean.
