Regarding the endurance race, I have a couple questions. -What is the stop procedure during fuel or rider swaps into pit lane? Two feet down at marked line, etc. -During a rider only stop (no fuelling) is it hold the bike running to new racer, shut off bike or on stand? Thank you! Sean
Entry into and out of pit lane is controlled by race officials, so you're stopped until they let you go, feet don't apply. For your second question, I don't think the rules specify that the bike needs to be off or on a stand for just rider changes, so just holding the bike should be sufficient if no fueling is going on. Please remember that these rules are new to the WMRC this year, so modifications in the interest of safety or efficiency might be forthcoming.
