So we are about a month away from racing and we all are getting our bikes, gear and miscellaneous needs sorted out...BUT do you have a transponder? Unfortunately if you do not have a transponder, you will not be able to race with us as we have no way of timing, and as per the rule book, there is NO sharing of timing device/transponder. We use AMB timing and scoring system and you need an approved and compatible timing device. The one we use are the TRANX 260. They are the red ones. They have changed their format and it is by subscription only model, unless you can find the previous generation and they are free..but the approximate cost (if you can find one) is $500! There are a handful offered from the SCCBC (sports car club) but they are FIRST COME basis ONLY. You can not reserve one and you need to bring CASH as it is separate from us!

Just to explicitly clarify, The MYLAPS X2 bike (red) transponder is also compatible when a license has been purchase from MYLAPS
