I found a used set of wheels from a Ninja 300 for cheap, can I use these (or a set from a CBR250) on a Ninja 250 in the Gold Cup without fear of protest/disqualification? These bolt on and don't require any modifications. New OEM spare wheelset for the Ninja 250R(no rotors) are $1100! I assume it will be fine but need to ask anyway to know for sure. Thanks!
7 days, 50 views and no response.... At first I just assumed, it's a cheap class from a small local racing club, so no one will mind. Then I thought, is this grounds for a DQ or some kind of protest if someones panties get bunched up? The rulebook states something like: no modification or replacement other than what is stated in the rules...if it isn't listed it isn't allowed. To save anyone else the trouble I guess I'll just stick with the OEM wheels. Looks like it just costs more to run the fastest bike in the class.
OK, deal. I still need to find 2-3 seconds anyway, hopefully you are joining the fun and can give me a tow...
