Anyone going to Edmonton June 19,20

I was wondering if anyone is heading up to Edmonton for the June 19, 20 races. Since we have nothing happening then I'm heading up there for the races just wondering who else is going to.

Brett and I thinking about it. Same problem as Thunderhill, not sure if the truck will make it there and back through the mountains.. so it's possible we're looking for someone with room or a pickup to tow the trailer or maybe go in on a truck rental...

 

hey jay,if you guy's are thinking truck rental,let me know what the split would be.i would consider splitting the costs with you guy's.

I haven't got the exact truck rental quote yet, but it would be very similar to our previous trip which worked out to be almost $1600.00. I'm hoping it might work out to be cheaper but the mileage is very similar. If we had 4 racers that about $400.00 + fuel each...

 

how heavy is your trailer? how many bikes?

 

i'm guessing the trailer is about 1,000lbs and it only holds the two bikes and assorted junk..err gear. The quote from the rental was $1,249.75 for 5 days, not including insurance and taxes.

 

ouch! sounds like you and brett should use your own vehicle.

 

For all those that are going to Edmonton for the races. I did phone around and the best rate I could find for 2 queen beds is $136.00 with taxes in at the Hospitality Inn. That is there corporate rate. Here is there # 1-877-998-2770. This is where I booked and its not to far to the track from there.

 

Man I love this track, all those who didn't come you are missing a great race weekend, weather is unbeatable and the EMRA are awesome hosts.
