Hey guys, I sopke with Tyson from Cascade Tracktime yesterday. He has once again been kind enough to help us out with some prizes. This year Tyson has gone above and beyond by giving us a 1 year membership to MotoClub as well as 2 (yes 2) trackdays. Cascade Tracktime MotoClub What is MotoClub? The MotoClub provides exclusive members a way to save incredible amounts of money on the parts, accessories, apparel, installation services and special events for powersports enthusiasts. The trackday vouchers never expire, use them in 2010, 2011 or 2020. Your choice. Total Package Value: MotoClub Membership $149 Cascade Track day (upto) $219.00 x 2 = $438 Total = $587
More silent auction items are arriving daily ..... Last week John Cathie dropped off a fantastic, autographed, beautifully framed picture of Josh Hayes. This likely will be the item I choose for the Dutch Auction.
Also arriving shortly ..... Debbie has been generous enough to donate a beautiful sterling silver and genuine gemstone bracelet. Garnet, blue topaz, peridot and amethyst. Worth over $250. Siren racing has donated a couple of Ipone gift packs, a helmet and 1 (possibly 2) Pitt Meadows track days. Kimpex is on board once again, Bernie wouldn't show me what he has in store for us, but it fills the back of is truck.
Prizes are arriving faster than I expected. I will post pictures tomorrow. We have recieved some amazing prize donations... I can't tell you how excited I am!!!! We had a club exec meeting tonight, on the way out I met up with Nancy from Siren raing to pick up the CKX helmet, Pitt Meadows track day voucher and other prizes, on the wayhome I picked up that amazing bracklet from our returning Course Marshall, Deb Cerny. I though I was having a really great, productive night!!! It gets better !!!! I check my email every night before bed, tonight I recieved an email from Jason Pridmore, please read the following response from JP himself. Jayson, First off, thank you so much for a great letter. To hear what you thought of our school after all the schools you have been to meant a lot to me and all of us at STAR. We have all tried hard in every aspect to make our program more than just a "track day", but more of a place where we can pass along some ideas for people to try. Along with that, I can say we provide a safe environment in which to do it. From Nita in the office to Steve who drives our truck, all my instructors and my business partner Mark we appreciate the effort it took for all of you to come down from the Great White North to join us. It was great having so many of you there and the Pro school was one of the best we have had. The 1on1 is the best isn't it? Thunderhill is expensive but to do a Pro school on the back of the first two days is more cost effective. I would love to do more schools with only 20 students, makes for good learning. As for the favor, totally no problem. We will go ahead and donate a 2 day school of choice towards the silent auction. I was trying to get in and post something on the forum but had problems signing in. I will try again but please post something on there about how cool I thought it was to read so many great comments. Thanks again, ride safe and stay in touch, Jason Pridmore So for all you WMRC Members that wish you had come with us to Thunderhill, here's your chance to get a STAR School for yourselves!!!! I will have more pics and prizes in the coming days.... Please guys and gals, grab a ticket and help us make the track safer for everyone.
Ryan, you have your wife distract my wife, and I'll do the same. Should make for a hell of a bidding war!!!
It keeps getting better everyone!!! I have just received an email from a club member who would like to remain anonymous. Even though they are unable to attend the fundraiser, they have generously donated $1000 to the Air Fence fund, and would like to challenge any person or shop to meet or exceed their donation.
Jayson, That's so cool that the Star School was able to help the club. Well done! Thank you to the anonymous donor, not easy with the economy these days. Looking forward to the festivities on the 17th!
Damn, it's looking pretty interesting in the fund raising department this year. Mega-kudos to the anonymous donor. Similarly, it might be helpful for you to accept silent auction bids via PM from anyone that can't make it in person. Just what you need; more work.
Damn! I don't know what I'm going to bid on now! I seriously want that 2 day school though! Or do I want a cascade trackday too?
