Greetings All, This is a reminder regarding our second race of the year. May 16th; GMR in Chilliwack: http://www.westcoastkartclub.com/greg-moore-raceway/ we hope to see all of you back for the second round. Those of you who were not at the first round missed great weather. As well the club has reduced racing fees for 2010. Gates open at 8 am. For those of you who were un-able to make the first round, here are some links, as well please see attached files. The rules and regulations regarding class appropriateness for your: motorcycle / scooter / pocket bike, age and skill level can be found here: http://amra.ca/rules®s.htm Please ensure that your bike conforms to the class you are racing in. Note the pocketbike rulebook is also listed at this link. As noted at the last race: No Motard or Spec / Formula Thumper / Thunder bike will be allowed on the racing surface unless axle and footpeg sliders are attached. No exceptions, as we?ve been discussing this since last June. We want / expect ALL other bikes to be in compliance by the Nationals, and will be determining suitability of your bike for use at the GMR facility on a race by race contingency. If the Kart club representatives determine that your bike is going to be a problem ? they CAN demand sliders prior to your admission to the track surface. Our continued presence at GMR will be determined by our respect for the race surface; there have already been issues with damage to the surface caused by axles and other hard parts gouging the surface.
