It is time to get the 2012 Race Season rolling! Your Westwood Motorcycle Racing Club has once again secured a great booth location at the Vancouver Motorcylce Show and need to fill it with fantastic race club representatives. The show this year is from Thursday January 19 to Sunday January 22. Members and Club volunteers that are interested in greeting show visitors and letting them know all about the clubs activities please send an e-mail to wmrcpromotions@gmail.com and let us know what your availability is. Spots are limited so let us know asap! The schedule is as follows: Wednesday Set up Thursday 2:30-9 Friday 9:30-3:30 & 3:30-9 Saturday 9:30-3:30 & 3:30-9 Sunday 9:30-3:30 & 1:30-6 Booth tear down We will have flyer's and information pamphlets for reference and distribution. I'm evidently at the show all four days so if you guys want me to just drop in to spell people off for a break when I'm not busy just say so.
I submitted a response with my availability for Saturday a few weeks ago, but haven't heard anything back from anyone yet as to where I'm needed on Saturday!?....I can be there all day if necessary..... Cheers, Tommy
I have sent out the second draft of the bike show volunteer schedule. Let me know if you are all available for the shifts. All WMRC members are welcome to come by the booth to and give breaks to the volunteers putting in the long hours. Look forward to seeing you all at the show. Ryan
For some reason I wasn't on the list and didn't get the email directly. I got it forwarded it to me by another member this morning. Please check the promotions email box because I sent you a follow up message after seeing that I had been missed. I can do either the Thursday or the Friday shifts that need to be filled....
Just looking at the booth map and we are right next to the RCMP. Was that on purpose ? Get them to scare the fast street guys with impounds and then have them come over and sign up for racer training, lol
