    Return to Sport Plan
The executive is building on our existing return to sport plan. A special focus will be placed on allowing more riders per event, as limits are just on the “playing field” IE Track. We would like to make our plan a showpiece that can make the WMRC a leader in covid response among sporting clubs.

    Volunteers
The executive will be starting to reach out to volunteers from previous years to find out if they are interested in helping us with the upcoming season. This includes track operations, riders reps, rules committee, and other critical club functions.

    Administrative
A special focus is being made on archiving club records, and setting up a framework of cloud based tools to allow the executive and delegated volunteers to work together remotely.

Our societies act filing will be updated and submitted in the following weeks.

Our investment account manager requires a letter of direction on how to manage, and when to release, the club’s contingency fund and vision fund.

The executive will be reaching out to the insurance company soon to find out if they will support some ideas surrounding training and making the club more inclusive of some riders that currently do not have the opportunity to race with us.

    Promotions
The club is reaching out to past sponsors and all industry contacts available to try and fill sponsorship spots for the upcoming season.

We are working on building a larger social media presence that will be inclusive of members, sponsors, other race clubs and track day providers, and companies in the motorcycle industry that are not currently sponsors.

    Equipment
Troy was able to arrange new headsets for the corner marshals at no cost, through the current radio provider.

The executive approved a budget of $300 for a new leaf blower for inflating the air fence.

Nick Dudziac will be trimming the fenders of the crash truck as well as giving it a good cleaning before the season starts.

    Race School and Rider Training
The executive has started discussing the logistics of race school for this upcoming season, as well as ways to make rider mentorship and training more available to new riders.
