Canadian tire has the 5.5 pound metal rechargeable fire extinguisher on sale for $45 down from $60. Just picked one up yesterday to replace my old one that was just below the full line. You should check your extinguisher to make sure you are good to go, because hey, George and I work on our own bikes...
You don't necessarily have to fork over $45 for a new one if the nitrogen has leaked off a little. Re-pressurizing is a lot cheaper. If it needs a 6 year maintenance it's still cheaper than a new one. If it needs a hydrostatic test, then it can be a coin flip as to which is cheaper.
I'm thinking I'll get my old one serviced and keep it in the garage just in case there is an emergency there. Who do you send the extinguishers to to get serviced?
Royal City Fire Supplies. Talk to Glenn if he's in. Tell him you know me and you're with the motorcycle club (he won't know what WMRC means)..
We should also have one in the announcing tower in case Scotty gets up there this weekend, he sounds like he is gonna burst into flames anytime he gets on the mic! Crowd loves it but we should consider the safety of our friend
