Track day & school: Friday May 1st Wmrc rounds 1 & 2: Saturday May 2nd & Sunday May 3rd Track day Saturday May 16th Wmrc rounds 3 & 4: Sunday May 17th & Monday May 18th Track day & school: Friday July 17th Wmrc round 5: Monday August 3rd Track day Tuesday, August 4th Track day: Saturday, September 19th Wmrc round 6: Sunday September 20th This is an ambitious plan for 2015. We will be organizing not only our race dates but schools and track days! with everybody's support i'm sure we can be very successful:thumbup:
Looks like I need a race bike for May! Nice job on the dates I applaud the membership for taking ideas and taking a chance changing up the status quo. You gained one more racer this year....um anyone got a race bike for sale????????????
If nothing else I am a man of my word. I will find a bike and I will be out as many dates that I am free. It looks like 5 maybe 6 of everything there. Again good job, and the bike hunt is on.:scooter:ickn:
We are expecting to run the WCC rounds during May 17-18. I think that there has been some discussion in EMRA about some promotions for visiting racers and we will certainly be working with the EMRA exec as well as our membership to encourage better participation.
WMRC will be running the WCC during the May 17-18 rounds in terms of tracking the classes for scoring etc, same as every year. We are still trying to figure out exactly what we are going to do to get a better turnout to Castrol, but there will be some kind of promotion or organizational assistance provided to WMRC riders that want to go out. There has been some talk in EMRA about offering a discount to visiting racers, and if they go ahead with that we will certainly try to offer the same kind of deal. I have not heard 100% confirmation that EMRA is going to host the WCC this year during one of their events, but know they are discussing it and right now it looks like the first July weekend makes the most sense.
