I've had some time to go over things and I might not be out at all this year. I don't have money for another bike, namely an SV650 and I don't really want to race my 750 this year, so thinking of just taking a year off and recoup for 2013. It would suck as I truly love racing and being out there, tech is fun so I guess we'll see, lol. See some of you at the bike show next week I believe and definately at Bernie's Daytona party.
That sucks Simon, but I totally understand. We'll definately miss you on the grid but at least you'll be at tech. You better come back in '13!! Remember this battle?
Love to ride a 250 or something else but honestly, budget does not allow. Spero, yeah, good times, even a few years ago when I had my head in the game, Not sure I'll even do tech this year, might be best just to step away and spend some time with the family, kids are growing fast, Regroup and come back fresh for 2013. Steve O'Toole bought Blairs SV so that makes me even more upset that I won't be out there this year. Time to rob a bank or ?????? Already shaking thinking of not being out there, I haven't missed a year since I started in 1996, even with injuries I still made it back out and either managed to get my bike(s) fixed or get a ride.
Well, with the schedule now posted, I simply can't do it, it will be impossible to get the wife off work, not wanting to race the 750, its a no brainer, and I am stepping away from Tech for a year, unless I am not wanted in 2013, Have a good year guys, keep it safe and most of all, have fun. I'll pop out the odd race and watch.
