Tom got back to the track in the afternoon in his hospital pj's and was in good spirits. He will be fine - just a little stiff. Good video Jayson.
Glad to hear Tommy is up and about... and that he will be fine. Very fortunate he did not take out another racer as he crossed the track. Jac had a birds-eye view... until she dropped the camera and ran for her life from Tom's oncoming bike!
Great video Jayson, you actually caught footage of the bike and rider going IN BETWEEN 2 riders....I was wondering how that went...I was too busy turning tail and running. Glad to hear Tom is okay. I wasn't so sure after I saw a bike and rider coming right at me at a pretty good clip. Both of them hit the tire wall with such force that the tires actually left the ground. To add insult to injury, the hay bales then fell on Tom. I have to admit that my dedication as a photographer isn't developed well enough, I ran, and I ran fast to get out of the way instead of getting the shot. I even left the cameras behind! Again, glad Tom is okay and that was very fast work by all the officials to get the race stopped and started again quickly.
