Anyone heading to PIR in June?

Looked at Seattle and Oregon but Seattle is only a few weeks away, I don't feel I'll be ok enough for that but really want to do Oregon. Any other racers thinking of going? I have room for one bike and gear if anyone needs a ride, just share fuel costs, which shouldn't be too bad, its an older diesel van so it won't break any land speed records, lol.

Leaving Friday after work? Would you be home in time for work Monday? Portland is 6 hours?

 

Leave Friday after work, the earlier the better, leave Sunday after the races, get home like at 1-2 am,

Depending on how fast you drive, 5-6 hours. Going to try and get the van turbo'd asap, will make the trip so much easier, lol.

 

Very interesting ... I'll see what I can do, but don't count on me until further notice.

Ill probably go on Thursday after work. Make it for the Friday practice so I don't get spanked to bad in the races. If no one goes with you Simon, I'm sure we could work something out.
I'm looking to try it out for the first time on the 7th. "2fast" is having a track day down there.

Yeah, if you want to hitch a ride, no problem. I can actually squeeze 3 bikes into my trailer,

I am planning on adding shelves and such soon so get everything up off the floor.

Anybody know what kind of gearing to run down at PIR? Running a 2008 zx6r.

I'll look at what I run but for Mission, I drop the front sprocket 2 teeth and leave the rear the same. I know its a 750 but that should get you in the ball park.


So, anyone in? I am now going for sure, Sean M said he's 90% in, I have room for a bike and gear. I think Jason is too chicken to go so I'll probably leave Friday afternoon so I can get inside and set up.
