Okay I've been searching for the last 1/2 hour, can't find an answer. Well I did a trackday, and I realized racing is my dream. I'm looking to get to a school this year to be eligible for a race licence next year. I want to do it now so that my tracktime from trackdaze will hopefully be more valuable with the extra racing knowledge. I would have loved to take the WCSS race course, but missed the start date. My question is, what other schools will qualify me for a WMRC licence that I can still get to this year? Sullivan? Thanks, Cory
You can take the "Westwood Superbike School" its run by Troy Burstyk. I'll dig up his info. This post should give you all the info you need- http://www.westwoodracing.com/forums/showthread.php?p=26028#post26028
Unless things have changed, completing the Mike Sullivan racer course should qualify you to get your license. It was my understanding that any course that qualifies you to get a race license from the nearby race clubs ie, CMRA, WMRRA, OMRRA will also qualify you for your WMRC license. Of course the Execs will know best.
Sorry, I thought he had alot more dates than just one. Any race school will work, IE Mike's or schools in Oregon.
jason is right on this one.you could try e-mailing troy.do the art course and he might supplement for the race course.they are the same course with final day being at mission raceway.a friend of mine is enquiring about the same thing.i talked to troy direct and he said he could work something out.trying to keep it local.
