Motion to accept was made Rob Schoemeyer, seconded by Jason Hanson Treasurer Report: In Brett Hanson’s absence, the treasurer report was read by Pam Black. Our current bank balance as of June 3, 2018 was $114,582.38 Income from May was $31,618.20 bills paid included catering, Dyno, new sets of flags, programs, track rental, security, race school costs, event supplies, and hay bale truck rental and hay. Outstanding bills include supplies for marshals (water, food), ambulance, track sweeping, projector and screen, and catering for May 19-21, leaving an estimated balance of $106,407.74 Promotions: The WMRC has been invited to host a booth at the Vintage in the Valley on August 19th, but to be able to take advantage of this; we are going to need some volunteers. Please contact us if you are interested. Thank you to High Road for their continued support of our track days by purchasing and hosting a session for their customers. They have also offered to provide a “by donation” barbeque lunch in the pits on July 3, so be sure to take advantage of that and to thank them for their support! Thank you to Rob Schoemeyer for facilitating this again this year!! New Business: Now is the time to register for the next race rounds. Your credit card will not be charged until you check in on race day, but if you do NOT preregister, you will be charged an additional $50 late fee at check in. Please note! If you are expecting to tech your bike on the night prior to an event, Tech is ONLY open between 7 and 8pm at the HDR pits. Do not show up before then, do not show up after then… this service is provided as a courtesy and not an expectation of all night tech. If you require tech after hours, you must be with your bike for that to happen. HDR would also like to apologize for the music selection in their pit during the last round and promises to do better next time. If you are interested running the endurance race in September, registration for this event will be open on July 1st. Of note, grid positions and your choice of spot on pit lane will be first come first served and determined by when you register for this event. Also, please only have one person per team register (team captain) for this event. A reminder that there will be no tire changes permitted UNLESS required by the onset of rain. PLEASE read the rule book with respect to the endurance race rules!! Reminder, there is no reason for any racer or their crew to be in the timing building. This area is off limits and there is to be no admittance. If you have a concern, please see your Rider Rep! Do not go to the exec, or to timing, or to the Referee… the process begins with your Rider Rep. If you require a check out ride on the June 22nd track day, please speak with your Rider Rep, either Dean Thompson #62, or Nick Dudziak #46 to make arrangements. Andrew Marles proposed that the race day schedule be altered by swapping the 2nd novice race with F1:15/middleweight superbike. Further, Nick Dudziak requested that we swap Formula Ultra with F1:15/middleweight superbike. The exec will discuss this and decide accordingly. Andrew Marles has been approached by an importer of Race bikes, Tiandi, with a request that we allow them to provide a 250 single bike for an upcoming round to run in 250 Production and lightweight supersport, with no points to be awarded. It was agreed that this was a good opportunity. Thank you to Sean Durell and E & S Heating for giving the air-conditioning in the timing tower a once over before our first weekend! Thank you to Troy Smith and Lower Mainland MC Club for sharing in the cost of sweeping of the track prior to the first round. If you are going to use a barbeque in your pits, please use your common sense and keep them 10 feet from all flammable items! Keep your extinguisher handy.
