Outstanding bills include the Mission Track Rental deposit for an estimated balance of $111,543.80 Promotions: Brian Jensen reported that he has been in continued talks with both the WMRRA and OMRRA clubs to discuss our upcoming seasons and cross club participation, with progress being made on a 250 production series. He has also been confirming sponsor participation for 2019 and advised that a few of the sponsors are going to be offering prize money. More details on that to follow. Brian has also been researching the possibility of more trophies, or number plate awards with further details to follow. Brian also proposed some ideas to promote the race school on Vancouver Motorbikes and 604 websites, and suggested we also allow free entry to people who arrive on bikes and say that they are with a local bike club. New Business: Brian Jensen will be holding a special operations tutorial class at BC Ambulance Service, to demonstrate the quick release helmet features. He will also provide the trackside paramedics with the same information on race and track days. A very special thank you and shout out to BC Supermoto for the donation of their cones. These will be utilized in our race school sessions at Pitt Meadows and are greatly appreciated. Further to that, the club will be researching a rental unit to store some of the larger items we are accumulating for our race school, such as cones, chairs, tables, etc. If you did not make it out to the bike show to renew your race license, you are now able to make your payment through MSR BUT you are reminded that Pam still requires your license application as well. MSR is also now open for race registration, race school registration, and the racer only track day. We have one piece of air-fence that needs to get to GA Checkpoint as soon as possible, thank you to Allan Hay for recruiting assistance with this. We also need to remove one broken down trailer and are looking for suggestions for its disposal. Our ANNUAL HAY BALE PARTY will be on April 7th at 11am. Please be sure to attend for the donuts and coffee, and the fun of building our hay bales for the season. Many hands make light work. We would also like to sincerely thank Mia Marles for her impactful assistance on previous hay bale days.
